Houston Heights Artistic Lifestyle Portrait Session for Christina

This time of year is always exciting!  With the slanting light, cooler weather, and the days becoming longer, you can't help but feel an extra pep in your step and want to spend every moment outdoors (weather permitting of course).

Christina and I set out to create a beautiful set of images that would reflect her edgy, fun spirit, and capture the beautiful urban landscapes surrounding the quirky neighborhood that is the Houston Heights. I'm beyond thrilled with how this artistic and simple lifestyle session turned out!

Take a look at Part 1 of Christina's beautiful portraits, and check back soon for Part 2!  Isn't she absolutely gorgeous?

Minute Maid Park Wedding Photography

When you're given the opportunity to photograph at one of your favorite sports venues, you jump up and down with excitement.  But for most seasoned photographers, they'd probably tell you that it's not the venue that's worth getting excited about.  It's the couple whose love story they get to document.

Kris and Gerry are the epitome of a dream couple to photograph and work with.  Their love is endless and honest, not just for each other but for their loved ones.  Everyone I photograph is filled with love and light, but Kris and Gerry just have a special and open way of displaying that affection.  When you look through their wedding images, you notice a common theme.  Lots of hugs, laughs, and kiddos.

While their wedding was chic, classy, and tasteful, they incorporated their precious little nephews, and other sweet children into the wedding ceremony and filled up their little love buckets to the brim during the reception.  This in turn filled up my love bucket and left me smiling from ear to ear throughout their wedding.  Take a look at my favorite images from their Minute Maid Park wedding in Houston, Texas, and thanks for joining on me on this trip down memory lane.

P.S. I love the Astros!  The wedding took place below the stadium in the Diamond Club. Like most, I had never been down there and had fun exploring before the festivities began. We weren't allowed on the field but we managed to snap a few photos out in the stands before the night was over.
